What is LEUX Design?
LEUX Design is a team in Burlingame, California. We help small-business owners set up, fix and grow the systems their business runs on: websites that AI search engines can read, booking and payments, brand, and operations documentation. We were founded by E.L. Johnsdotter and work with clients anywhere in the USA, remotely.
Entrepreneurship, done well, changes the world. It builds communities, creates connection, and gives people a way to express what they believe in. We’re here for the founders who know that, and are building accordingly.

The problem
Can AI search engines find my business?
Often not: most small-business websites look fine to people but are empty to machines, as our own site was on 6 October 2026, when it handed AI crawlers one character of text. We check what the machines see and fix it, starting with a website check.
A crawler that doesn’t run JavaScript received a single empty box from leux.design, while visitors saw a full site.
Graded against two published technical guides to answer engine optimization, our own site scored 25% (F) on the technical guide and 10% (F) on structured data.
Asked about "LEUX Design", one AI search tool corrected the name to "LUX Design" and described other companies

We grade every site before and after. A Peninsula window and janitorial cleaning company’s site moved from 31% to 94% on the technical answer-engine grade and from 10% to 86% on structured data. Our own site started at 25% and 10%.
